In my garden there is a large place for sentiment. My garden of flowers is also my garden of thoughts and dreams. The thoughts grow as freely as the flowers, and the dreams are as beautiful. ~Abram L. Urban

Been awhile
Well I thought I had post a few pictures of the garden. I have just trying to keep up on the weeding while Danny is gone. Sterling has been helpful with the watering. It does a mama proud to see her boy watering the tomatoes. You'll see in the pictures below.
Dear little chickies! Will they let you pick 'em up and pack 'em around?
I'm still fighting ants and grass, grass, everywhere but where it's supposed to be. One garden in town has a straight row twenty feet long that is nothing but deep purple iris! It's in bloom and looks just fabulous. But I see what MY problem is: too many trees. Those iris are in full sun.
We had a very rainy week -- now it's just sort of cool and damp. My back door is still too swollen to close. Sigh.
